We’re Hiring: Program Assistant (Part-Time, Contract)

We’re growing the team, and I’m hiring a Program Assistant to help run our 12-week entrepreneurship program. This part-time, contract role supports bi-weekly sessions with logistics, participant communications, and smooth day-of operations so our founders can focus on building.


About the Role

  • Type: Part-time, contract (program duration)

  • Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 330PM - 730PM

  • Location: Wilmington, DE (in-person support for sessions required; some tasks remote)


What You’ll Do

  • Session Logistics: Prep materials, room setup/tear-down, sign-in, timekeeping, light A/V support.

  • Participant Support: Greet participants, manage questions, assist with assignments/resources.

  • Admin & Tracking: Maintain attendance, collect surveys, track milestones, organize files.

  • Communication: Send reminders, recap emails, and schedule updates to participants/partners.

  • Vendor/Volunteer Coordination: Confirm availability, share talking points, day-of support.

  • Materials & Templates: Help assemble workbooks, agendas, checklists, and handouts.

  • Showcase Support: Assist with run-of-show, signage, and guest coordination for the final event.


What We’re Looking For

  • Organized & reliable with great follow-through (you love a good checklist)

  • Strong communicator (clear emails, friendly in person, comfortable on the phone)

  • Tech-savvy: Google Drive/Docs/Sheets, basic Canva, email/calendar tools

  • Event-ready: Comfortable lifting up to ~20 lbs, moving tables, setting up signage

  • Service mindset: Respectful, welcoming, and solution-oriented

  • Bonus points for: Experience with adult learning, facilitation, nonprofits, or small-business programs
